Pharmacology

Interaction

Contraindications

  • Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to tetracycline groups
  • Avoided in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus
  • Considered contraindicated in severe renal impairment

  • Hypersensitivity reactions like anaphylaxis and rashes

Pregnancy & Lactation

  • Not recommended for use during pregnancy

Precautions & Warnings

  • Given with caution in patients with impaired liver function
  • Avoid high doses in patients with liver issues
