Description

Azimon is indicated for infections in lower and upper respiratory tract, otitis media, skin and soft tissue infections, and sexually transmitted diseases. It is readily absorbed, reaching peak concentration in 2.1 to 3.2 hours. Azithromycin acts by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit of susceptible microorganisms, interfering with microbial protein synthesis.
