Dosage
- 150 mg-300 mg every six hours for serious infections
- 300 mg-450 mg every six hours for more severe infections
- 8-12 mg/kg/day for serious infections in pediatric patients

Overdose Effects
- Similar adverse reactions to normal doses can be expected
- Haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis not effective in removing Clindamycin from the serum
- Treatment with simple gastric lavage

Reconstitution
- Shake the bottle well to loosen the powder
- Add 80 ml of boiled and cooled water to the dry mixture in the bottle
- Dilution of IV solution not to exceed 18 mg per ml
