Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to trimethoprim or sulphonamides
- Megaloblastic anaemia due to folate deficiency
- Liver parenchymal damage
- Blood dyscrasia
- Severe renal insufficiency
- Glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency
