Indications
- Treatment of single infection or mixed infections
- Infections caused by susceptible organisms
- Infections resistant to other antibiotics
- Antibacterial activity
- Infections in urinary, respiratory, and gastrointestinal tracts

Pharmacology
- Synthetic quinolone anti-infective agent

Dosage
- Determined by severity and type of infection
- Specific dosage range for adults, lower and upper urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, and gonorrhoea
- Dosage adjustment in impaired renal function
- No dosage adjustment in elderly
- Different dosage for adolescents and children
- Duration of treatment based on severity of infection
Administration

Interaction
- Concurrent administration with specific products to be avoided
- Significantly reduced absorption with milk or dairy products
Contraindications
- History of hypersensitivity to Ciprofloxacin or other quinolones
