Description
Cipro-A is a synthetic quinolone anti-infective agent with broad spectrum of activity against gram negative and gram positive bacteria. It is indicated for the treatment of various infections including respiratory, urinary, gastrointestinal, skin, and soft tissue infections.
Indications
- Treats single and mixed infections caused by susceptible organisms
- Effective for infections resistant to other antibiotics
- Use in urinary, respiratory, and gastrointestinal tract infections
- Treatment for gonorrhea, skin, soft tissue, and pelvic infections
- Management of bone/joint, biliary tract, and intra-abdominal infections
Pharmacology
- Active against gram negative aerobic bacteria including Pseudomonas aeruginosa
- Active against gram positive aerobic bacteria including penicillinase producing staphylococci
