- Dosage for cystic fibrosis-related infections: 750 mg twice daily
- Dosage adjustment for impaired renal function
- Dosage for adolescents and children: 7.5-15 mg/kg/day
- Duration of treatment: 5-10 days, continued for 3 days after symptoms disappear
- Recommended dose of extended-release tablet for acute cystitis: 1000 mg once daily for 3 days
