Indications

• Treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis
• Treatment of bacterial corneal ulcer
• Treatment of blepharitis
• Treatment of hordeolum
• Treatment of perioperative ocular infections

Pharmacology

Synthetic, broad spectrum, third generation fluoroquinolone bactericidal antibiotic

Dosage & Administration

• 0.5% eye drop for adults and children 1 year and older
• 1-2 drops every 2 hours for days 1 and 2
• 1-2 drops every 4 hours for days 3 through 7
• 1.5% eye drop for adults and children 6 years and older
• 1-2 drops every 30 minutes to 2 hours for days 1 through 3
• 1-2 drops every 1 to 4 hours from day 4 through completion
• Safety and effectiveness below 1 year of age not established

Hypersensitivity to Levofloxacin or its components

• Ocular dryness
