Indications
- Bacterial infections

Pharmacology
- Bacterial gyrase inhibitor
- Effective against gram positive and gram negative bacteria
- Interferes with bacterial DNA processes
Dosage
- Instill 2-3 times daily
- Duration of treatment: 7-9 days

May be taken with or without food
Interaction
Avoid ophthalmic preparations containing heavy metals
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or quinolones
- Long term antibiotic use may enhance development of secondary fungal infections
