Indications

• Treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis
• Effective against Aerobic Gram-positive microorganisms
• Effective against Aerobic Gram-negative microorganisms
• Effective against Other microorganisms
• Highly effective intraocular antibiotic

Pharmacology

• Antimicrobial action from inhibition of topoisomerase II
• Inhibition of topoisomerase IV
• Involvement in replication, transcription and repair of bacterial DNA
• Key role in the partitioning of chromosomal DNA during bacterial cell division

• Dosage for Eye Drops
• Dosage for Eye Ointment
• Dosage for Intraocular injection

Interaction

• No known drug-drug interactions
• Does not inhibit specific cytochrome P450 isozymes

Contraindications

• Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Moxifloxacin or quinolones
