Interaction

- Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency
- History of Achilles tendinitis following the use of fluoroquinolones

Use in Special Populations
- Geriatric: Pharmacokinetics not altered in the elderly with normal renal function
- Paediatric: Pharmacokinetics in paediatric subjects not studied
- Gender: No gender differences in pharmacokinetics
- Renal insufficiency: Plasma concentrations are twice that in subjects with normal renal function in patients with varying degrees of renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment: Pharmacokinetics not altered in patients with mild or moderate hepatic impairment without cholestasis
