Interactions
- Chelation complexes with aluminium and magnesium cations in antacids and sucralfate
- Contraindicated with medications that increase QTc interval and/or Torsade de pointes
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients
- Pregnancy
- Lactation
- Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency
- History of Achilles tendinitis following the use of fluoroquinolones
