Pregnancy & Lactation
- Adverse fetal effects seen in animals

Precautions & Warnings
- Observation for abnormalities in hepatic, renal, hematological, and biochemical function
- Rare cases of hepatic necrosis
- Development of severe cutaneous reactions
- Discontinue therapy in case of rash
- Not recommended for use during lactation
- Unlikely to impair ability to drive or use machinery
Use in Special Populations

- Dosage adjustment in renal impairment
Overdose Effects
- Supportive and symptomatic treatment
- Gastric lavage if necessary
- Forced volume diuresis to increase elimination rate
- Haemodialysis decreases plasma levels by approximately 50%
