Pharmacology
Fluconazole is a triazole antifungal agent. It is a potent inhibitor of fungal cytochrome P-450 dependent enzymes.

Contraindications
Known hypersensitivity to Fluconazole or related triazole compounds

Pregnancy & Lactation
Adverse fetal effects seen in animals at high dose levels. Not recommended in pregnancy or in women of childbearing potential without adequate contraception.
Precautions & Warnings
- Abnormalities in hepatic, renal, haematological and other biochemical function tests
- Hepatic necrosis
- Exfoliative cutaneous reactions
- Monitoring of rash in patients with invasive/systemic fungal infections
- Use during lactation not recommended
- Unlikely to impair ability to drive or use machinery
