Indications
- Used for oropharyngeal candidiasis
- Treats vulvovaginal candidiasis

- Maintenance therapy in AIDS patients

Interaction
- Contraindicated with terfenadine, astemizole, cisapride
- Rifampin, phenytoin, phenobarbital interactions observed
- Concurrent use with HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors
- Caution with oral midazolam or triazolam
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the drug or any ingredient in the formulation
- Severe hepatic disease
- Contraindicated in patients taking rifampin
