Mechanism of Action
- Stimulates intestinal peristalsis by directly acting on the mucosa of the colon.
Indications
- Constipation
- Bowel preparation for colonoscopy
- Facilitation of defecation in anorectal conditions

Typical Dosage
- 5-15 mg orally once daily before bedtime
