    Mechanism of Action

    • Losartan blocks the vasoconstrictor and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II by selectively blocking the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptor in various tissues, such as vascular smooth muscle and the adrenal gland.
