Dosage & Administration
- Taken 15-30 minutes before meals
- Usual recommended oral dose for adults and children
- Rectal administration for adults and children
- Maximum period of treatment is 12 weeks
Interaction
- Anticholinergic drugs may antagonize
- Lower oral bioavailability with antacids
- Main metabolic pathway through CYP3A4
- Inhibitors of CYP3A4

Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity to the drug

- Gastrointestinal hemorrhage

- Prolactin releasing pituitary tumor
