Description
- Asynta Tablet is indicated for the treatment of symptoms resulting from the reflux of acid, bile, and pepsin into the esophagus such as acid regurgitation, heartburn, indigestion, sore throats, cough, and symptoms of laryngopharyngeal reflux such as hoarseness and other voice disorders. It can also be used to treat the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux during concomitant treatment with or following the withdrawal of acid suppressing therapy.
- The mode of action of Asynta Tablet is physical and does not depend on absorption into the systemic circulation. It forms a gel in the stomach to prevent acid from flowing back into the esophagus. Some side effects may appear, such as nausea, constipation, diarrhea, headache, and sensation of swelling in case of an overdose.
