Dosage & Administration

- dosage for adults and children over 12 years
- dosage for children 6-12 years

- not recommended for children under 2 years
- no dose modifications for elderly and hepatic impairment
- caution for renal insufficiency with highly restricted salt diet

- possibility of reduced efficacy in patients with very low gastric acid levels
- review the clinical situation if symptoms do not improve after seven days
