Indications

Pharmacology
- Proton pump inhibitor
- Suppression of gastric acid secretion
- Enteric-coated pellet formulation
- Peak plasma levels occur at approximately 1.5 hours
- Metabolized in the liver by CYP enzymes

Dosage
- 20 mg or 40 mg for healing of erosive esophagitis
- 20 mg for maintenance of healing of erosive esophagitis
- 20 mg for symptomatic GERD
- 40 mg for Helicobacter Pylori eradication
- 20-80 mg for Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome
- 20-40 mg for acid-related Dyspepsia
- 20 mg for duodenal ulcer
- 20-40 mg for gastric ulcer
- IV injection or infusion for specific conditions and patient groups
Administration
- Oral administration
- Administration with or without meal

Interaction
- Metabolized in the liver by CYP2C19 and CYP3A4
