Indications

Interaction
- Potentiation of Meperidine and barbiturates
- No interference with the action of digitalis

- Half dose for renal impairment patients
- Start with half the recommended dose in the elderly
Overdose Effects
- Hypersedation
- Vomiting induction if not occurred spontaneously
- Immediate gastric lavage recommended
- General supportive care
- Control hypotension with intravenous fluids

- Hemodialysis may be indicated if ingested concomitantly with other agents
