Administration
- Take on an empty stomach
- Take 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals

- Reduction of oral contraceptives efficacy
- Alteration of INR during warfarin and phenindione use
- Reduction of oral typhoid vaccines efficacy
- Reduced excretion with probenecid and sulfinpyrazone
- Increased risk of toxicity with reduced excretion
- Allopurinol's effect on ampicillin-induced skin reactions
- Reduced absorption with chloroquine
